All of the following specimens are Tourmaline
from Galiléia, Minas Gerais, Brazil. All of the Tourmaline crystals
are jet black. The top terminations are flat and the sides of the crystals are heavily striated and very lustrous. The extreme darkness of the crystals did not always allow for the best images, but each specimen is notable for this extreme black color.

#Ci16  $48.00

2.875 x 1 x 1"

The edges of the crystals at the top appear to be damaged, but they are not. As one nears the top of the crystal, the top edges have a distinct worn look, caused by natural growth conditions. These "worn" areas provide an interesting contrast to the flat top and striated sides. There is no damage to the crystal but it is contacted on the back.

 2 x 1.75 x 1.75"

Jet black and lustrous grouping of at least 8 Tourmaline crystals each a little higher than the other and ending with a small crystal on the top. No damage.

#Ci19  $48.00

2 x 2 x 2"

Two jet black, heavily striated and very lustrous Tourmaline crystals combine to make this specimen. The top edges of both of the crystals are flat, but as seen in the right image, the upper most crystal has a unique, "bubbled" appearance. I did not see another termination like this is all of the others I saw in Tucson.

#Ci23  $17.00

Two complete jet black, heavily striated and very lustrous Tourmaline crystals, measuring 0.75 x 0.5", sit upon a matrix of clear Quartz crystals on this side of this 1 x 1 x 0.875" specimen. The other side consists of essentially all Tourmaline crystals which can be seen in the enlargements. The Quartz crystal appear to cut through the two areas of Tourmaline crystals if you view the specimen from the side.

#Ci24  $20.00

A single, complete jet black, heavily striated and very lustrous Tourmaline crystal, measuring 0.5 x 0.375 x 0.25", sits upon a matrix of clear Quartz crystals and has a smaller Tourmaline crystal in front of it. The edges of the crystals at the top appear to be damaged, but they are not. As one nears the top of the crystal, the top edges have a distinct worn look, caused by natural growth conditions. These "worn" areas provide an interesting contrast to the flat top and striated sides. The entire specimen measures  1 x 0.875 x 0.25".

#CE152  $40.00
