NATIVE COPPER
Bisbee, Arizona

An unusual shaped piece of Copper, in that the specimen appears to have been bent over or bent in two. The specimen measures 2 x 1¾ x ¾" and has a deep rust-brown color along with a outer, light turquoise patina in certain areas.

ARSENOPYRITE
Yao Guang Xiang Mine, Cheng Zhu City
South Hunan, China

Very bright silver, 1¾ x 1½ x ¾" specimen of Arsenopyrite. From one side the specimen seems to be comprised of jagged edged ribbons that have been laid next to and along side one another. From the other side the crystals take on a more blocky appearance. In good condition and highly lustrous.

AZURITE
Jiangxi Prov., China

 

 

 

Long, thin, dark blue blades of Azurite extend almost the entire front face of
this 2 x 1½ x ¾" specimen which also has a spot of Malachite at the bottom.

The following specimens are Atacamites from the La Farola Mine, Inca do Oro, Chile. The lateral, circular Atacamite sprays are all deep, dark green and are very lustrous. The sprays do not extend very far off the matrix. The sprays are all sitting on a thin, very light green coating of Halloysite.

Overall dimensions 3¼ x 2¼ x 1" with the largest individual spray
measuring ½ x ½". There is a grouping of sprays that extends down
the right side of the specimen and measures 2" long and 1" at its widest.

WULFENITE - Micro Crystals
San Samuel Mine,
Carrera Pinto, Chile


Not a usual specimen offered on Cyberocks, but this 3½ x 2 x 2" specimen consists of numerous areas containing bright orange to darker yellow micro crystals of Wulfenite. Some of the crystals are on the surface, while others are found inside vugs that measure to 1¼ x ½". Clicking on the image will show you the best enlargement of the specimen I was able to get.

  GOLD
  Tucumana Mine, Inca de Oro, Chile

  
On a green - black Crysocolla matrix measuring  1¾ x ¾ x ½" thick, sits  bright, paper thin Gold. The Gold is in one sheet that measures ¼" wide, 1/8 " high and is readily visible.
