SPINEL TWINNED GALENA

Numerous, steel grey, spinel twinned Galena crystals are present on this 6.9 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm specimen. The largest of the twinned Galenas measures 1.8 x 1 x 0.3 cm and has a mirror like finish as seen in the upper right image which shows a reflection of the Calcite and Quartz also present the specimen. Numerous thin, plate-like crystals of tan Calcite, black Sphalerite crystals and tiny , white Quartz crystals are also on this specimen.

QUARTZ STALACTITES

Numerous slender stalactites coated with druzy Quartz make up this 6 x 5 x 6.3 cm specimen. The entire specimen is highly lustrous and all of the stalactites in the main portion of the specimen are in great shape.

HEMIMORPHITE
Hunan Prov., China

Deep turquoise colored Hemimorphite covers almost the entire top of this 6 x 3.5 x 3.0 cm specimen. The Hemimorphite itself measures 5.1 x 2.8 cm and has a very uniform, lustrous appearance.
