PREHNITE
Brandberg Area,
Erongo, Namibia

Medium to light green, bladed tabular crystals of Prehnite have formed both in a circular fan appearance and an upright fan shape to create this 2 x 1.5 x 1.5" specimen.

All of the following specimens are PREHNITE
from the O + G Quarry in Southbury, CT. The specimens were collected by a local field collector within the past 2 years.         There is minimal damage to the Prehnite on the periphery of some of the specimens, all of which can be seen in the images here and in the enlargements. All of the Apophyllites are tiny, sparkling crystals except for this first specimen.
