#CI129 $140.00 CASSITERITE Santin Mine, Guanajuato , Mexico A lustrous grouping of jet black Casitterite formerly in the
Smithsonian collection.
#CJ185 $95.00 AMETHYST Numerous Amethyst crystals are placed in various orientations all over the front face of this 7.6 x 5 x 3.8 cm specimen. The Amethyst crystals are all in good shape and are a light purple in the center with a very nice darker purple color toward the terminations. There are 3 crystals on this specimen that are double terminated. The most aesthetic Amethyst crystal is the one that lays essentially horizontal across the uppermost part of the specimen and is attached by the center of the crystal, as seen in the upper, right image. It measure 2 x 0.4 x 0.4 cm. The other 2 doubly terminated crystals lay essentially vertical on the specimen and are more toward the front of the specimen, creating a triangle with the uppermost doubly terminated Amethyst. The specimen can be easily orientated so as to see all three, doubly terminated crystals at once.
#CI155 $32.00 TETRAHEDRITE and CALCITE Quiruvilca Mine, La Libertad Dept., Peru A large, steel gray Tetrahedrite crystal measuring 1.5 x 1.25x 0.5" is placed in the center bottom of this 2.75 x 2 x 1.75" specimen. The larger crystal is intact with small, disc shaped, off white crystals of Calcite placed on the bottom section of the crystal. Some damage to the periphery of the specimen.
