PICTURES CALCITE
This snow white Calcite specimen, often referred to as "Angel Wing Calcite" is made up of sheets of Calcite crystals that extend in all directions from this 4.5 x 4 x 3" specimen. The largest of these crystals measures 3.5 x 2.5" and all of the crystals are in very good shape, with some nicking around the edges. Each crystal is made up of what appears to be flakes of Calcite and the enlargements better show what I am referring to.

CALCITE on AMETHYST
Extending of a medium purple Amethyst matrix measuring 5 x 3¾" is a Calcite crystal that measures 1¾ x 1 x 1". The entire crystal has been covered by a tan colored Druzy Quartz and certain areas have then been covered by a second growth of Calcite. The entire height of the specimen is 2¾". There is a slight nick to one corner of the Calcite and there are numerous other Calcites placed on the Amethyst.
