#CE11  $50.00

Bright red fluorescent Calcite surrounding a clear hexagonal Calcite crystal. The hexagonal crystal does not fluoresce, but shows the red fluorescence of the Calcite behind it. The entire specimen measures 2¾ x 2¼ x 1" with the hexagonal crystal measuring 2 x 3/8 x ¼". The tapered Calcite and the hexagonal crystal before it end at the same height. Regular light images are the side and top views. There is also an incomplete hexagonal crystal in the upper left portion of the specimen.

All of the following specimens are CALCITES from Ametista do Sul, Brazil.

                                                              #CH153   $22.00

Unlike other Calcite crystals from Brazil, this 2.25 x 2.5 x 1.75" specimen consists of a few transparent Calcites with an almost melted appearance. The crystals are naturally terminated and in very good condition. The main crystal measure 1.75 x 0.5 x 0.5" and it's muted appearance can be better seen in the enlargements. Under SW UV, the Calcite fluoresces red, but with a transparent crystal, the color only seems to be located on the edges and the corners of the crystals.

                                #CE14  RESERVED

A rather small specimen, 1¼ x 1¼ x¾" that consists of numerous small, bright red fluorescing Calcite, with almost all of the "thick" needle variety except for one tabular crystal and one fluorescent Twin crystal. This twin measures ¾ x ½ x ¼" and is placed toward the top of the specimen and is in perfect condition.

                                                                #CE10  $55.00

Three bright red fluorescing, tapered Calcite crystals make up this 3¾ x 2 x2¼" specimen. All three crystals are complete and in good shape with the crystal in the center measuring 2¼ x 1 x 1". The interesting crystal is the one on the right. The red fluorescing 2½ x  7/8 x ½" crystal has overgrown a clear hexagonal Calcite crystal. This hexagonal crystal does not itself fluoresce, but the red color comes through from the Calcite behind. Mine operators claim that they do not see this combination very often.

#CB86   $34.00

One large Calcite crystal and numerous small crystals make up this specimen. The large crystal  measures 2 x 5/8 x ¾" with the smaller, cylindrical  crystals measuring ¼ to 3/8 " long. All of these  crystals sit on a 2¼ x 1¾" matrix with the height
of the specimen at 7/8".
